About Us
Welcome

My name is Teddy Harris, I have lived in Rossville Georgia for over 40 years. My earliest memories are of growing up on Beech Street.
I fondly recall roaming the slopes and hollows of Missionary Ridge. In the summers, I spent days fishing in the duck pond in front of
the
John Ross House. My great love of books was born in the old library beside the Rossville fire hall.

I attended Rossville Elementary and Rossville Jr. High School. In 1981 I graduated from
Rossville High School.

My wife Karen and I have been married for over nineteen years. We bought our first house in Rossville on Richmond Avenue in 1987.
We now reside in the LaBron Heights subdivision behind the
library  and the old Peerless Gym.

My Family attends
Elizabeth Terrace Baptist  Church in Rossville, just outside the city limits.

I'm employed by our family owned furniture store, H & H Furniture and I'm currently serving on the Rossville City Council.
Hobbies

I'm the founder of RHSA online an Internet alumni organization for Rossville High School Alumni and Ridgeland
High School Alumni. Membership has grown since 1999 to over 1200 members.

Also I  e-publish the
Bulldog Newsletter, and the Panther Newsletter current subscription is over 1200.
1998

That is the year I began a small online community for my
High School graduating class. The popularity of this online
community led to the creation of a broader community for
Rossville High School Alumni.

1999

The next step was creating web pages to support the
thriving Rossville High School alumni community. Which in
turn led to creating the Bulldog Newsletter and finally the
Peerless Review a news portal for NW Georgia.

2000
With experience of building an integrated website, I turned
my focus to using these new skills in building a web page for
our business, H & H Furniture.

The website created traffic to the store, and many telephone
inquiries. That website generate between 10 to 15 views a
day. That is between 300 and 450 views a month! I was just
a novice at that time but the results were phenomenal.
2004  www.beechwoodnet.com

Success at creating a website that help my business using just a free web service, encourage me to get my
own domain name (www.beechwoodnet.com). My dream was to create a directory and network of small
businesses, churches and organizations using my domain. I moved the Rossville High School Alumni web pages
and H & H Furniture to the new domain. After a few months my new domain was picked up by the search
engines, and traffic to my web site began to grow.

2007 Ridgeland High School

I extended RHSA online services to include graduates of Ridgeland High School.
Also started the web publication Panther Newsletter

Experience

My experience with creating a website for Rossville High School Alumni and H & H Furniture, has given me
insights on how to build, manage, and maintain web pages. I know how to get into search engines, how to use
key words to drive traffic to a web page.

In real estate its about location. On the world wide web it is about information. I learned all of this through trail
and error, always moving forward, always learning, and investing lots of time in creating more effective
techniques, processes and designs.

I have driven traffic to my business by using simple basic web pages, and using knowledge I have accumulated.
I want to share this with other small business, churches and organization who don't have the time, resources
or money for a fancy expensive web site. I know not everyone has the time or patience to learn how to build
and maintain a web site. Our goal is to provide a worry free, effective, economical web presence for small
businesses, churches and organizations. Let
Beechwood help you with your online advertising.

The story behind
Fairview Furniture
Harris Furniture
H & H Furniture

In the late 70's the brother of Arthur Harris started a small used furniture store in the Fairview community of
Rossville. That store
Fairview Furniture was the seeds of what would one day become H & H Furniture.

Arthur's brother seeing an opportunity for higher visibility moved to the downtown district in Rossville in the
early 80's, changed the name to
Harris Furniture.

Arthur Harris, had been buying and selling for his brother over the years, purchased Harris Furniture in January
of 1984. His new partner was Don Hale. The two partners changed the name to H & H Furniture. Don Hale soon
sold his stake of the business to Arthur, but stayed on as Arthur grew the business.

In November of 1985 Arthur brought his son Teddy into the business and he became the general manger of the
store.

Tragedy struck H & H Furniture on the morning of March the 19th 1987. A fire consumed the entire block in
Rossville leaving H & H in a smoking heap. Not to be discouraged by this misfortune Arthur soon secured a new
home for H & H Furniture.

He moved H & H back to the place where Fairview Furniture was born, in essence taking the store back to its
roots. On August 7th 1987 the doors of H & H were opened at 2007 McFarland Avenue, and new and used
furniture and appliances were once again being sold.

Arthur has over 30 years experience buying and selling furniture, and Teddy has over 20 years experience in
furniture retailing.

Check with Arthur or Ted before you buy, why pay more when you can get more for less.
